Michael Spanhanks writes Christian action-adventure, historical westerns, post-apocalyptic, and suspense thrillers. After retiring from work in the tire industry after twenty-seven years, he now enjoys quiet mornings focused on developing compelling fiction stories while sipping his favorite coffee. Michael and his wife live on 10 acres in Arkansas and enjoy country living and the sounds of the animals that inhabit their property. The couple has two children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, all of whom bring them immense joy. Having been raised on a farm, Michael learned the challenges of raising and training horses. Growing up, one of his favorite pastimes was trail rides with his family and friends. He also enjoys woodworking and when not writing will spend hours crafting items for the household and family.
